Web 2.0 has been used so much that people are sick of hearing about it - but what effect does this collaborative, de-centralized, environment have on our understanding of reality? In particular, how does it impact our practice and perception of the Christian faith? Such is the fodder for tonights podcast! Here's the crew for this week:Me - this is always my fault, I blog at this site.Jim (http://drqohelet.blogspot.com/index.html) - Christdot's qohelet, and lenten blogger.Sarah (http://mrsqohelet.blogspot.com/) - Christdot's MrsQohelet, now dubbed the smiling fist Kevin (http://praxistheologia.com/) - Our radical anabaptist ethicist currently enjoying spring-breakCalvin (http://randombloggings.wordpress.com/) - Hopes to soon be an employed youth pastor and is also Mandy's (http://erebvaboqer.wordpress.com/) husband. This is his first time on the Conversation.Jamison (http://boolah.dupadee.net/) - former seminarian and current ecclesiastical journeyman. We're considering sharing our IM session that tends to run concurrently with our confence call. Most of it's pretty useless, but sometimes it gives some insight on why the conversation shifts the way that it does.

What do you get when you put two Old Testament scholars, a theologically-minded mother of two who could probably teach many pastors a thing or two, a radical-anabaptist ethicist, and a confused baptist into a room and start talking politics? You get last night's podcast of course! The conversation sprang out of the recent interest in William Wilburforce, and touched on numerous points from there. Read on of a participant list, show notes will follow shortly (but as this was more of a general discussion you might not even need them).
