Purpose

To help participants come to understand, and accept, that forgiveness accompanies confession.

• Paper and pencils to write confessions
• Scripture verses printed out, describing confession and forgiveness.
• A broom and trash can.
• A mat to create a seemless lip into the trash can.
• Various lights, candles, and other decorations of faith.
  

• Set up the lights/candles and other decorations on the table.
• Present the verses on confession and forgiveness prominently at the station.
• Underneath the table, lay the trash can on it's side, and set up the mat to create a seemless "lip" into the trash can.
• Set the broom near the can, standing up against the table.
• Place writing tablets and pencils on the table.

• Have participants come to the station and read the Scripture verses that are presented.
• Participants should spend some time in contemplation on their lives, asked for any sin to be revealed to to their hearts.
• When ready, participants should write down the sin that is on their hearts on to a sheet of paper.
• After confessing the sin in prayer to God, participants should tear up the piece of paper, toss the fragments on the mat, and sweep the pieces into the trash can.
