Genesis 15: 1 - 21

Purpose

To show how God will often call for obedience that we find difficult.

Materials Needed

• CD's with audio recordings of the "hard calls" you desire people to meditate upon.
• CD Players (1 For each seat at the station).
• Paper and pens/pencils for journaling
• Reminder cards with the verses you recorded onto the CD.

Set Up

1. Record various "hard calls" and burn them onto a CD (most computers have a ".wav recorder" these files will burn perfectly onto a CD using your cd burning software.
2. Burn at least 1 CD for each of the seats at the station (you can burn extras if people want them for their private meditation).
3. Set up a table with space for each seat at the station. Decorate it with various symbols of faith (Crosses, words, etc.). Make sure you have enough candles on the table for people to see for journaling.
4. Put blank paper and pens/pencils at each station.
5. Place "reminder cards" at each station, make sure the passages on the CD match the passages on the "reminder card."
6. Create a back-drop for the station, with the instructions listed on it.

Instructions

1. Pick up a "reminder card" and look at the passages listed.
2. Listen to two (or three, depending on length) of the "hard calls" at the station.
3. Journal briefly on your reaction to the call.
4. Take the card, and your journal, with you. Use the listed Scriptures in your meditation over the course of the week.
