 Well, today's presentation went very well
even though I went over time by a few minutes and we had no time to set
up our tables when the sanctuary wasn't filled (and they didn't fit
with the band, which we didn't know anything about, on the platform) and
I didn't actually see how my slides converted on their system until I
got up to speak (only 3 glitches on word-wrapping... phew!).
Here's the promised podcast, but let me say a couple of things about it:
- I apologize to The Ooze in advance if my comments about
"niceness" at the end offend. I should put my thoughts in context better
(there are so many trolls on The Ooze, it's sometimes hard to tell
who's genuinelly interested and who's just there to berate anymore).
- My statment about The Ooze being filled with "freaks" is a compliment - I consider myself one.
- This is 10 minutes shorter than it should have been - if anyone ever wants to have me come and do the whole presentation, I'd love to be in conversation with you.
